Hime(姫) gyaru means princess-gyaru! The style is heavily inspired by Rococo france, and european princesses. We love to dress and act like princesses, wearing alot of floral print and bows. Himegyaru is like lolita but very different. Lolita strives to be more like a doll, cutesy and adorable. Himegyals tend to be more mature and a bit less modest than lolita! We share alot of similarities but thats kinda it.
is it okay to mix the both? Yes, I think it's okay since theres so much in common, I think mixing styles is very cute!

    Essentials, himegyaru is time consuming, it's expensive and you can't be lazy. I don't want to be rude but im trying to be pretty straight foward, ofcourse you can be himegyaru but you just need to get creative. If you can't afford the clothes make them, find old clothes and learn how to turn them cute! If you can't do one thing, emphasize another cataogry, for an example i can't do heavy makeup because my skin is sensative so i dress up every day
    Large hair, preferably curled, usually its bleached or light brown but its totally okay if you ca't do that! Long nails, usually deco, but i also think its okay to not have nails if you can't have them. LOTS of pink and cream, floral prints and loved too!! Makeup is emphasized on making your eyes big like a doll, large lashes, the rest is a light pink blush and light lips. Concelar or light pink colored lips are prefered. Heavy deco items, my bag is frilly, my phone is too! Lots of frills, ribbons, and bows. Bows are a large aspect of it!! Oversized hair acessories are favoured, such as bows and roses. High heels that have flowers, lace or bows. Pearl/diamond jewlery!

    Is it pracctical to wear himegyaru everyday? No, on the days I don't want to wear as much I lean towards a himekaji direction! Himekaji is princess casual, it's normally known as himegyaru but a bit toned down. Hair acessories aren't as big, its more like everyday outfits!

    I've been gyaru for about a year now! I fell inlove with it when I saw got really into coquette and lolita. I really love the color pink, I also love fashion, I'm dramatic, bold, and oer the top!
